IN PRASHNOTTAR MALLIKA SRI ADI SANKARA WAS ASKED BY HIS DISCIPLES :- कः गुरु ? (WHO IS A GURU ?) HE ANSWERED अधिकत तत्वः,शिष्य हिताय उद्यतः सततं I HE WHO KNOWS THE TRUTH AND THINKS FOR THE GOOD OF THE STUDENTS. किं उपादेयं ?(WHAT SHOULD BE ACCEPTED?) गुरुवचनं I GURU’S ADVICE TODAY,WE CELEBRATED THE SPECIAL BOND BETWEEN TEACHERS AND STUDENTS. . Dr. Princy from the Department of public health dentistry , Meenakshi Ammal Dental College Chennai, conducted a talk on oral health awareness on 29.07.2022( Friday) for classes IX and X. Dr Princy gave an introduction about basic oral hygiene, followed by oral gingivitis(gum disease) how to keep gums healthy, malocclusion its symptoms and prevention, Oral cancer and prevention and a Healthy lifestyle which is very essential for healthy teeth and gums.
D.A.V GMGP Hindi club was inaugurated today(30.07.2022) in the school auditorium. The programme started with school prayer song. The importance of Hindi was depicted through dance, song and speeches. Badges were pinned to the Secretary, Deputy Secretary and to the Class representatives of the Hindi club.
Arivom Ariviyal, was organised by Vasantham - a school and home for people with special needs. Students of Class VII attended the exhibition on 17.08.2022
